ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Nils-Göran Olve is Adjunct Professor at Linköping University. He works extensively in management training and co-authored two previous Wiley books: Performance Drivers - A Practical Guide to Using the Balanced Scorecard (1999) and Virtual Organizations and Beyond (1997). The former has been published in 10 languages and sold in over 70.000 copies. As a consultant, his work concentrates on management control issues, in particular the Balanced Scorecard and management of IT. He works as a writer and advisor, and was previously a partner in Cepro (from 1995-2003), a Stockholm based consultancy which in 2000 became part of US-based The Concours Group. As a corporate advisor he has fifteen years of experience from working with strategy and management control projects, especially implementing strategies using balanced scorecards. Petri is also a frequently invited speaker at conferences and seminars on the issues of strategy, management control and knowledge management. He is a creative, versatile, customer-oriented consultant with extensive management experience across a wide range of industries. Jan has had great success in initiating and managing change and turnaround projects. Prior to joining Affärsstyrka AB, Jan served as CEO of Concours Europe, a multinational consultant firm. He also served as CEO for Dobber Sportswear AB a multinational sportswear company with subsidiaries around the world, Volvo Mailorder, Gothenburg, and Hejco International, Hyssna, a multinational mail-order company selling business uniforms. Jan co-authored Performance Drivers, practical guide to using the Balanced Scorecard (Wileys, 1999) which has been translated into seven languages. He is fluent in both Swedish and English. [ Full bio | Publications | Photos ]  Sofie Roy Norelid holds a PhD from Stockholm University. She is presently working as a lecturer and researcher at School of Business. The main focus in her thesis is on knowledge and how the balanced scorecard has been used to manage knowledge and drive change. For her PhD she has conducted an in-depth study of Skandia's work with their equivalent to the balanced scorecard, the Skandia Navigator. [ Full bio | Publications | Photos ]
